SVP, Commercial Lending Team Leader Nancy Curry
CANTON, Mass. (January 13, 2025) – Nancy Curry recently joined Bank of Canton as senior vice president, commercial lending team leader. In this newly created position, Curry will directly oversee the production, servicing and operations of the bank’s commercial lending function.
“Bank of Canton has a strong commercial portfolio: well balanced and diversified, with high-performing assets,” said Curry, who possesses 35 years of experience developing financial institutions’ loan portfolios and lending capabilities. “I’m stepping into a great situation. This is an exciting opportunity to build upon the bank’s strong foundation, lead a talented team of lenders and operations staff, and contribute to the growth of a local mutual bank that cares deeply about its clients and the broader business community.”
Curry arrives at Bank of Canton having held senior leadership positions at several Boston area banks. In prior roles, she has grown and managed loan portfolios worth hundreds of millions of dollars, evaluated and improved credit policies and procedures, and helped establish a de novo commercial lending division.
A member of the Bank of Canton’s senior management team, Curry will work out of the bank’s corporate headquarters building in Canton and report to Executive Vice President Michael Lindberg.
“Nancy is an industry veteran who has inspired those around her to perform at their best,” said Lindberg. “She knows how to build strong teams that deliver exceptional client service, and we’re very pleased to have her on our senior leadership team.”
In addition to her role at Bank of Canton, Curry serves on the credit committee of the Massachusetts Bankers Association and is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network. She holds an MBA from Boston College and a BA from Connecticut College. Curry also recently served on the executive committee of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.
