Bank of Canton Awards More Than $6,000 in Prizes (Walpole Release)

Walpole resident among bank’s Holiday Debit Card Drawing winners

Walpole resident Eric Velasquez received his prize, a pair of Bose® QuietComfort II earbuds, at Bank of Canton’s headquarters.

CANTON, Mass. (January 6, 2023) – Bank of Canton recently awarded more than $6,000 in total prizes as part of its 2022 Holiday Debit Card Drawing promotion. The prizes included four sets of noise-canceling earbuds, two iPads, and premium tickets to see the Celtics, the Bruins, and Bruce Springsteen from TD Garden’s Heineken Star Club suite.

“At Bank of Canton, we’re grateful for our customers each and every day we come to work,” said Stephen P. Costello, president and CEO of Bank of Canton. “We wanted to show our appreciation, add a little excitement to holiday shopping, and surprise a few lucky customers with an unexpected gift.”

During the promotion, Bank of Canton customers were automatically entered into the drawing once they made 15 debit card purchases. Customers earned one entry for each purchase, and qualified for additional prizes as they achieved 20-, 30- and 40-purchase milestones. More than 1,800 customers were eligible to win at least one of the prizes.

Walpole resident Eric Velasquez won one of the four available sets of Bose® QuietComfort II noise-canceling earbuds. Photos of all the prizewinners, who hailed from Brighton, Canton, Pembroke, Plainville, Randolph, Quincy and Walpole, were posted to the bank’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
