Regional Lending Manager Brian Keefe (NMLS #17711)
CANTON, Mass. (June 16, 2023) – Mortgage lender Brian Keefe of Belmont was recently named regional lending manager at Bank of Canton. Based out of the bank’s 490 Turnpike Street headquarters in Canton, Keefe will assist homebuyers and homeowners throughout the Greater Boston area with mortgage financing, including jumbo and conventional mortgages, construction-to-perm loans, bridge loans, and specialized grants and loan programs from MassHousing and the Federal Home Loan Bank.
“I’ve been originating mortgage loans for over 30 years, and I still love what I do,” said Keefe. “It’s very satisfying to help guide clients through the financing process and educate them along the way, providing clear and timely communication so there are no surprises.”
Keefe has served clients in and around Greater Boston since 1992, working for several national mortgage companies before joining Bank of Canton.
“Bank of Canton is a great fit for me,” Keefe continued. “My goal going into every transaction is to ‘wow’ the client, so that we have a client for life. And Bank of Canton gives me the tools and technology to do that.”
“Brian knows how to make clients feel comfortable with the mortgage process, and it shows in his production,” said Scott Gannon (NMLS #80565), senior vice president of residential and consumer lending. “He’s been very successful over the years, and I’m looking forward to his contributions here at the bank.”
Keefe earned his MBA from Babson College and his undergraduate degree from Norwich University. He is a fourth-generation resident of Belmont, where he lives with his wife and two daughters. He has served as an elected Belmont Town Meeting member since 2011, and coaches youth hockey and softball in his spare time.
