Skilled lending professional possesses diverse mortgage industry experience

Regional Lending Manager Craig Thomas (NMLS #2037117)

CANTON, Mass. (June 20, 2023) – Bank of Canton recently hired mortgage lender Craig Thomas as regional lending manager. With experience in mortgage sales as well as loan processing and pipeline support, Thomas brings an expansive knowledge base and professional network that spans the entire loan origination process.

“I’m very excited to join a local mutual bank where the focus is on relationships,” said Thomas. “Success stems from building relationships – with clients, coworkers and referral partners – and Bank of Canton’s collaborative, ‘client first’ environment puts me in a great position to foster the relationships I’ve built across the industry. I’m confident we’ll deliver an outstanding mortgage experience for clients and partners alike.”

Thomas’s lending career includes positions with multibillion-dollar firms, serving as an associate mortgage banker, senior mortgage closer and senior loan closer in Walpole and Boston offices.

“Craig is a go-getter who has consistently exceeded sales goals and facilitated loan closings for his clients,” said Scott Gannon (NMLS #80565), senior vice president of residential and consumer lending. “His experience with the entire origination process is a great asset, and we’re excited to have someone with his skill set and drive join the team.”

Thomas received his bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University. He lives in Easton with his wife, Danielle, and son, Owen.
