Official Rules: 2024 Disney on Ice Ticket Drawing

You understand that you are providing your information to Bank of Canton and not to Facebook nor Instagram. By participating in this promotion you are agreeing to a complete release of Facebook and Instagram from any claims.

Eligibility: To enter Drawing or be eligible to win, you must be a legal resident of Massachusetts and 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Directors and employees of Bank of Canton (the “Sponsor”), its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, persons engaged in the production of materials for this Drawing, and the immediate family members (grandparent, parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) of and any persons living in the same household as such individuals are not eligible to participate. All applicable federal, state, and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. By participating, entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

Drawing Period: 2024 Disney on Ice Ticket Drawing (“Drawing”) occurs from February 12, 2024, 8:00:00AM EST through February 14, 2024, 12:00:00PM EST (“Drawing Period”).

How to Enter: On Bank of Canton’s Instagram profile (www.instagram.com/thebankofcanton/), on the 2024 Disney on Ice Ticket Drawing Entry Post (“Post”) dated February 12, 2024, entrants must comment on the Post during the Drawing Period when signed into Instagram using their Personal profile. Entrants must state “their most recent gift-giving triumph.” Entrants can also visit Bank of Canton’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/thebankofcanton/), and comment on the 2024 Disney on Ice Ticket Drawing Entry Post (“Post”) dated February 12, 2024, when signed into Facebook using their Personal profile. Entrants must state “their most recent gift-giving triumph.” Limit one entry per person per social media platform; maximum number of entries per person is two (one on Facebook and one on Instagram). Bank of Canton assumes no responsibility for hardware or software issues resulting in an inability to successfully comment on the Post on either Facebook or Instagram. Participants without Facebook/Instagram profiles may deliver a 3″x5” index card with their name, address, telephone number, cell phone number, and email address to Bank of Canton’s corporate headquarters located at 490 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021 during business hours of the Drawing Period to enter.

Entrants are responsible for all third party-imposed costs and fees, including the cost of postage. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery. Bank of Canton will use the information on the entry form solely to contact the Winners of the Drawing. Entrants agree not to hold Bank of Canton, their partners, their employees and/or their affiliates responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, damaged, postage-due or illegible entry materials. Entry forms may not be photocopied or otherwise reproduced. Entries become the property of Bank of Canton and will not be acknowledged or returned. Illegible, incomplete or duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Prize: Winner will be selected at random using an online random number generator on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, and will be notified the same day either via 1.) Direct Message on Facebook or Instagram, if Winner follows the Bank of Canton Instagram and/or Facebook profiles, or 2.) Instagram and Facebook posts, on the Bank of Canton’s Instagram and Facebook profiles announcing contest results, or, if entry was made offline with a 3″x5″ index card, 3.) telephone and/or email. Winner must respond to Bank of Canton via Direct Message on Instagram or Facebook, or by telephone/email if notified that way, within 12 hours of being named the Winner, or else Bank of Canton may select a new Winner. Entrants need not be present to win. The Winner will receive two tickets to the Disney on Ice event being held at TD Garden, Boston, MA on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Prizes are not transferable. Winners may not win more than one Prize. No substitution of prizes permitted except at the sole discretion of Bank of Canton. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the Winner. IRS reporting may apply. Odds of winning depend upon the number of qualified entries received. Winner must present photo identification to receive prize, and will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release providing name, address, and date of birth in order to claim a Prize. Winner must agree to permit the use of his or her name and/or likeness for publicity purposes relating to the Drawing without further compensation or review. Winners’ details will be made available within thirty (30) days of the award of the Prizes by submitting a request in writing to Bank of Canton, Attn: Marketing Department, 490 Turnpike Street, Canton, MA 02021 and enclosing a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

Conduct: The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual: a) suspected of tampering with the entry process or the legitimate operation of the Drawing; b) to be acting in any manner deemed by the Sponsor to be in violation of the Official Rules; c) to be acting in any manner deemed by the Sponsor to constitute unsportsmanlike or disruptive behavior, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS DRAWING IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND COSTS (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Privacy: Collection and handling of personally identifiable information will be in accordance with Bank of Canton’s Privacy Policy as posted on www.ibankcanton.com.

Dispute Resolution: Entrant agrees that: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant(s) and Sponsor and their agencies, shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this Drawing, or awarding of the eight prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the County of Norfolk in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purposes of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this Drawing, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Drawing, or awarding of the prize, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Drawing; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

Liability: By accepting a Prize, Winner agrees that Bank of Canton, their affiliates and subsidiaries, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability for any damage, loss or injury that may arise in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in this Drawing.
